At Ergo Heights, we are committed to providing premium ergonomic furniture of the highest quality while respecting your statutory rights under UK law.
Your Statutory Rights
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to:
- 14-day cooling-off period: Cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item(s) for any reason
- 30-day right to reject: Return faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund
- Repair or replacement: Request a repair or replacement for faulty items after 30 days, within 6 months of purchase
These rights apply to all purchases made online or by distance selling.
14-Day Cooling-Off Period
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your furniture, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by contacting contact@ergoheights.com with your order number.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s). Items must be returned in their original condition, unassembled, and in original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or we made an error.
We will refund the price you paid for the item(s), including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Items Excluded from Cooling-Off Period
The following items cannot be returned under the 14-day cooling-off period:
- Custom-made or personalised furniture made to your specifications
- Items that have been assembled or used
- Sealed items that have been unsealed (for hygiene reasons, such as chair cushions)
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or we've sent you the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@ergoheights.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damage or issue
- Description of the problem
We will arrange collection and provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you. Your statutory rights entitle you to a refund, repair, or replacement for faulty goods.
How to Return an Item
To return an item under your 14-day cooling-off period:
- Contact us at contact@ergoheights.com with your order number and reason for return
- We'll provide return instructions
- Return the item(s) in original, unassembled condition with all packaging and components
- Use a tracked delivery service (you're responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty)
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 14 days to your original payment method.
